We started in 1990 when I decided to give my husband, Eduardo, a female Dachshund Standard Smooth. It wasn’t a whim, dachshunds had been in his family for years.

His grandparents had had and bred them before he was born and the name of our kennel is his grandmother´s maiden name - Viola van Woerden -

That first bitch –Arg. CH. GROVEDLAE OPERETTA- bred by the late Mr. MARIANO DE EZCURRA gave us great success in the rings and as brood bitch. His offsprings gave us many other titles too, CH. Arg, Uruguayan, Latinamerican Agatha Christie and Amigo van Woerden, GCH. Arg, CH. Uruguayan, Chilean, Peruvian and Latinamerican Brunilda van Woerden and many others.

In 1999 we imported from Canada our first stud dog HERITAGEHUND´S GAUCHO who is now Argentine GCH and Uruguayan, Brazilian and Chilean Champion. It came from MARGOT KING´s kennel. In 2005 we imported another stud dog from Canada, DRISHEEN GRINGO ap van Woerden, this time from PAT KEARNEY´s kennel.

In december 2006, we brought from LOS ACANTILADOS kennel of Madrid, Spain, VIVANCO DE LOS ACANTILADOS (Pancho) with just 5 months old, but a great promise.

In 2011 we imported form the famoun kennel TANARY of Ray Smith in Canada TANARY TANGO as van Woerden.

Our kennel is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are a family kennel, we don´t have many dogs and we don´t breed very often. Our pups are raised in a family environment with all the sanitary care and all the socialization necessary for them to go out into the world with as little stress as possible.
